How to Make Green Goddess Dressing

How to Make It
Add 1 ripe avocado, ½ cup fresh basil, ½ cup fresh parsley, ¼ cup fresh chives, 1 small garlic clove, juice of 1 lemon, 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, and ½ tsp sea salt to a blender or food processor*.
Blend until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
Add 2–4 tbsp water to reach desired consistency.
Taste and adjust lemon or salt to preference.

Notes
Green goddess dressing is packed with fresh herbs and healthy fats from avocado and olive oil. Most store-bought versions contain seed oils and preservatives. Homemade is fresher, cleaner, and takes 10 minutes. Enjoy on salad bowls, or as a dip for veggies.
*For a tangier dressing: add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. For extra creaminess, blend in 2 tbsp Greek yogurt, coconut yogurt or tahini.
