How to Make It

  1. Add 1 ripe avocado, ½ cup fresh basil, ½ cup fresh parsley, ¼ cup fresh chives, 1 small garlic clove, juice of 1 lemon, 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, and ½ tsp sea salt to a blender or food processor*.

  2. Blend until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.

  3. Add 2–4 tbsp water to reach desired consistency.

  4. Taste and adjust lemon or salt to preference.

Notes

*For a tangier dressing: add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. For extra creaminess, blend in 2 tbsp Greek yogurt, coconut yogurt or tahini.
