How to Bake Perfect Salmon (Oven)

How to Make It
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, or use a glass baking dish.
Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the foil or in the dish.
Pat salmon dry with a paper towel.
Lightly coat with avocado oil spray, then season with sea salt and black pepper.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is just opaque and flakes easily.
Remove from the oven and let rest 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes
Baking salmon at a higher temperature helps keep it tender while preventing it from drying out. Remove it from the oven as soon as it flakes easily.
